Electrical Project Engineer - Contract (4-6 Months)
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join an established site team for the close-out phase of a major infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project with a Tier 1 contractor and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
 
About the Role

Working as part of a well-established delivery team, you will be responsible for supporting the successful completion and handover of electrical works across the project. This role will focus on both LV and HV systems, ensuring all engineering, quality, and compliance requirements are met during the final stages.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day project engineering activities
  • Coordinate and oversee LV and HV electrical works
  • Support commissioning, testing, and close-out documentation
  • Liaise with subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
  • Assist with final handover and defect resolution
About You
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-6 years' experience in construction project engineering roles
  • Background in commercial building or major infrastructure/tunnelling projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of LV and HV systems
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an established project team
