Detail-oriented Document Controller to work on exciting major projects in the built environment.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Document Controller to join a talented project team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management and control of all project documents, ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the document control system, including electronic document management systems
  • Review and classify project documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Implement and maintain document control procedures
  • Distribute documents to stakeholders for review and approval
  • Track document revisions and ensure all versions are controlled
  • Archive project documents in accordance with company policies
  • Respond to document requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain a filing system for project documentation
Skills and experience:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Document Controller or similar role in the built environment / construction industry
  • Strong understanding of document control principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with document management systems (EDMS), a plus
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
