Job Title: Substation Control Technician

Location: Wagga, Yass, and Orange - NSW

Starting Salary Package: $145,000 - 156,000 (includes 15.5% superannuation)

About the Opportunity:
Our client is a market leader in the Energy industry. As a Substation Control Technician, you'll contribute to renewable energy projects and shape Australia's energy future. You will be responsible for the installing, testing, and maintaining Substation Control Systems, developing processes, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, test, and maintain Substation Control Systems.
2. Develop processes for SCADA Remote Terminal Units, Substation Controls, and Data Networks.
3. Review and design minor modifications to Control Systems.
4. Provide technical advice and support.
5. Fault-find and prepare specifications for projects.
6. Communicate with stakeholders.
7. Provide leadership to field teams.

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Familiarity with relevant standards.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in SCADA, Networks, and Control Systems.
• Project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Current driver’s license.
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
• Willingness to travel
