Well known national tier 2 builder is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join their busy and ever growing team.
Our client is a tier 2 national builder and have a smaller division which is a "business within a business." They focus on high-quality fit-outs, refurbishments, and intricate smaller-scale projects and services upgrades.
This role offers the best of both worlds: the robust systems and financial backing of a major tier-two firm, with the close-knit culture and diverse responsibilities of a boutique team.
The Role – Contract Administrator
You will be the backbone of project commercials, working closely with Project Managers to ensure our sites remain profitable and compliant. This is a perfect "next step" for someone who has mastered the basics and is ready for more autonomy.

The Role – Contract Administrator
You will be the backbone of project commercials, working closely with Project Managers to ensure our sites remain profitable and compliant. This is a perfect "next step" for someone who has mastered the basics and is ready for more autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement: Preparing subcontract tender packages and conducting detailed scope reviews.
- Subcontract Management: Managing monthly progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting with monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasting.
- Compliance: Ensuring all insurance, QBCC requirements, and safety documentation are up to date.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, sharp, and enjoys the fast-paced nature of refurbishment work.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a CA role within the Australian construction industry.
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills and a high level of proficiency in construction software (Jobpac experience is a plus!).
- Mindset: You’re a problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and isn’t afraid to "wear a few hats."
