Contract Administrator – 3 Month Contract
Location: Newcastle, NSW

We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a well-established commercial fit out builder based in Newcastle for an immediate 3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a fast-paced project environment and support the delivery of high-quality commercial fit out projects across the region.
About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial management and administration of fit out projects from procurement through to final accounts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Letting and administering subcontracts
  • Preparing scopes of work and procurement schedules
  • Progress claims, variations, and cost reporting
  • Managing RFIs and contract documentation
  • Financial tracking and budget management
  • Supporting project delivery and stakeholder coordination
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction (fit out experience highly regarded)
  • Strong working knowledge of Jobpac and Procore (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor packages
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
