CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long-standing client nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom across Australia. This company are a leading Main Tier Contractor who have a currently pipeline of works on the Eastern Seaboard alone in excess of over $1bn. They operate in a range of different sectors including Roads, Rail, Resources and Renewable Energies.
They are currently involved in a complex $300ml+ project in Far North QLD and as of a ramp up in work load have identified an immediate need for a Project Engineer to work on a contract basis until the end of the year. Working as part of a dynamic team your responsibilities will include:
- Development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Project Management Plans
- Construction planning, scheduling and progress monitoring
- Design constructability and compliance reviews
- Subcontract management - building, structural, piping, mechanical, civil, electrical and design contracts
- Cost Forecasting and Financial Management
The role is a 3-month contract based in North QLD with accommodation and pool vehicle being provided and flights back to Sydney for an R&R weekend every 2 weeks.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years experience in an Engineering role
- Must possess demonstrated experience in Civil or Mechanical Construction
- Water Infrastructure experience is desired
- Tier 1 Contracting experience is preferred
- Clear confident communicator
