A well-established, proudly South Australian owned food distribution business is seeking a dynamic and energetic Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead its growing operation. Supplying a range of well-known consumer brands locally, nationally and internationally, this close-knit company is passionate about its people and the quality of service it delivers.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll oversee all warehouse and logistics functions to ensure seamless supply and distribution. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of supervisors, warehouse staff and delivery drivers.
  • Planning and executing supply arrangements to maintain optimal stock levels and cash-flow.
  • Monitoring warehouse activities for quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinating between warehouse, administration and sales teams to maintain high DIFOT and customer satisfaction.
  • Developing logistics strategies and analysing distribution costs to improve efficiency and profitability.
About You
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management or a relevant tertiary qualification (commerce, supply chain or related).
  • Proven people-leadership skills and a hands-on, “can-do” approach.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, OH&S/WHS, and freight or delivery services.
  • Current forklift licence and open driver’s licence.
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
