The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll oversee all warehouse and logistics functions to ensure seamless supply and distribution. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of supervisors, warehouse staff and delivery drivers.
- Planning and executing supply arrangements to maintain optimal stock levels and cash-flow.
- Monitoring warehouse activities for quality and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinating between warehouse, administration and sales teams to maintain high DIFOT and customer satisfaction.
- Developing logistics strategies and analysing distribution costs to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management or a relevant tertiary qualification (commerce, supply chain or related).
- Proven people-leadership skills and a hands-on, “can-do” approach.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, OH&S/WHS, and freight or delivery services.
- Current forklift licence and open driver’s licence.
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
- Salary of $100,000 + superannuation
