With a strong commitment to safety and excellence, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth in the service and testing side of the business.

Position Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing the client's fire protection portfolio in Sydney. Your responsibilities will encompass developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and fostering growth. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target prospective clients in Sydney and surrounding areas who require fire protection services and testing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the industry.
  • Create and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve growth targets.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure service and testing offerings meet industry standards and client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Monitor and report on market conditions and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
  • Fire related qualifications / accreditations 
  • Proven track record in business development and sales within the fire protection industry. 
  • Strong understanding of fire protection systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
