An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a highly regarded, multi-disciplinary building services consultancy delivering complex and high-profile projects across Australia.

This role will see you working across a diverse portfolio of healthcare, laboratory, commercial, education and mixed-use developments, with a particular emphasis on technically challenging environments where safety, compliance and performance are critical.

You’ll play a key role in electrical design delivery, technical leadership, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical building services design from concept through to construction and commissioning
• Lead and contribute to projects across healthcare, laboratory and technically complex sectors
• Prepare and review electrical documentation, reports, specifications and drawings
• Coordinate with mechanical, hydraulic, fire and architectural disciplines
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
• Ensure designs meet Australian Standards, NCC and relevant authority requirements

About You

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years’ experience in electrical building services consulting
• Proven experience delivering healthcare, laboratory or mission-critical projects (highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and building codes
• Proficient in industry software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, design and calculation tools)
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
