The Role

The Bid Manager role is responsible for managing all submissions for the Sydney office and therefore plays a pivotal part in ensuring marketing research is performed, marketing resources are available, client relationships are developed and enriched and an appropriate company image is presented to the market. 
  • Submission Qualification: This will involve filtering various opportunities to identify the most appropriate ones to be responding to and developing the “win” strategy in conjunction with the project leader.
  • Submissions Management 360
  • Submissions Register: Maintain a submissions register including the tracking of success rates as well as submissions lost.
  • Proficiently using InDesign to produce a tailored, comprehensive and visually striking submission document that reinforces the “win” strategy within the agreed programme.
  • Update CVs, Project Sheets & Capability Statements Update marketing material ensuring it is current, tailored and readily available. 
  • Hold regular Submission Status Reviews with relevant stakeholders
  • Update the management team at the weekly Resourcing Meeting on current Submissions. 
  • Manage internal and external stake holders to ensure timely collation of information and sufficient review process that allows the highest quality production.
  • Building Relationships To expand and build the relationships within the business, particularly with the Directors, Principals and Associates, as well as consultants, authorities, contractors and collaborators.
Qualifications
  • A formal Degree in Graphic Design or Communications or other Design related Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience 
  • Graphic, writing and computer skills sufficient to undertake tasks required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage large complex documents
  • Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Good Team Player
