Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge electrical engineering solutions for a variety of building projects – particularly in healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of a respected consultancy.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering design for a range of building projects, from concept through to completion.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the electrical engineering team, ensuring the highest standards of design and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are implemented.
• Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposal writing.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering within the Building Services industry.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional membership with Engineers Australia (CPEng) is highly desirable.
