I am currently recruiting for a Systems Assurance Manager to join the Sydney Metro SSTOM project.
 
The System Assurance Manager will ensure that the safety, systems and security  assurance processes are effectively implemented and followed during the D&C phase.
 
The main responsibilities of the role will include;
 
General
- Support the processes (safety,security and systems assurance) defined by the HSEQ Director and the Technical Director
- Support the risk and hazard management processes
- Contribute to the management plan production
- Contribute to the configuration management
 
Safety
- Contribute to the requirements management process
- Contribute in the Verification and Validation process (gate reviews, production, milestones, evidences,…) defined by D&C
- Review the System Safety Assurance Plan
- Review and assess the Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) and SHL (System Hazard Log) at system level,
- Review and assess the Sub-System Hazard Identification (SSHI) Sub-System Hazard Analysis (SSHA) Sub-System Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Review and assess the exported constraints to the operator
- Participate in the hazard and risk review processes as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
 
Other responsibilities will also involve work across RAM and Human Factors.
 
Successful candidates will ideally have some exposure to driverless metro (although not essential)
 
Other criteria;
Essential - Experience in 
- RAMS processes and assessments, and assurance processes including hazard analysis, verification and validation
- System Assurance processes and Engineering Safety
 
Highly Desirable - Experience in 
- Security
- Quality Assurance/ Quality Control
- Risk Management
