Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $55.69 per hour + super
About the Role
The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (NSW Government) is seeking a qualified Surveying or Spatial Science Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical planning and infrastructure projects in Bathurst, supporting spatial data collection, analysis, and surveying activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in surveying and spatial science tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collect, analyse, and manage spatial data to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Contribute to reporting, mapping, and technical documentation as required.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Spatial Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong technical skills in spatial data collection and analysis.
  • Experience working on surveying or infrastructure projects is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.

  • Duration: Fixed-term contract until 30th June 2026.
