CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been approached by a key client to supply a Safety Advisors to work on a complex Road Infrastructure project up in North QLD. 
 
Reporting to the Safety Manager you will be responsible work health and safety management plans, provide proactive safety advice to site management and engineering staff. The role is very much field based with a high focus to reviewing SWMS and JSA's so we are looking to speak with dynamic safety professionals who prefer to be out with the crews on site and not pushing paper behind a desk.
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Safety Adviser role 
- Must possess demonstrated experience in Civil Construction 
- Road experience is also essential 
- Tier 1 Contracting experience is preferred
- Clear confident communicator 
 
The role is a contract position until the end of the year with an extension possible until February 2026. The client is running a 10/4 FIFO roster out of Brisbane Airport. Interviews are being held now and applicants should be ready to start in the next week.
