Commercial Contracts Manager – Water Infrastructure
Location: North Sydney, NSW
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Start: ASAP
Rate: Competitive Daily Rates
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join a leading water infrastructure delivery team based in North Sydney. This role offers an immediate start on a 6-month contract, working across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of multiple water infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee contract administration, variations, claims, and procurement processes.
  • Support project delivery teams with commercial strategy, cost control, and risk management.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Contribute to project reporting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Contract Administrator in civil or water infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial management, and construction contracts (GC21, AS2124, AS4000, etc.).
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects within a principal or tier 1 contractor environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
