CGC Recruitment is a specialist recruiter in the construction, engineering, property and design space.

The Company:
Having operating in the Sydney market for over 10 years, the main bulk of their work within the Fit-out/Refurbishment market they have an established base of both client and subcontractors which they have developed over time. 
With a full order book for 2023 already they are going through a significant growth period at the present time and are looking to bring in a submissions administrator/pre-contracts admin to support the estimating team.

The main function of this role is to provide support to the Commercial Manager.
  
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Attend tender/pre-tender site inspections, take photos and ascertain potential tender advantages/competition.
  • Update relevant documentation, Tender Calendar, Tender Register, Tender and Estimating Forecasting, Bid Planner etc
  • Send submission template document to admin once team is finalised.
  • Co-ordinate and undertake pre-tender strategy meeting with Senior Management, note risk/critical items for estimators and for inclusion in submission.
  • Once tender template is received back from admin, complete detailed methodology and submission with an accompanying program.
  • Review proposed subcontractor list for suitability of trades.
  • Following receipt of trade pricing, review all trade quotes to confirm clarifications and exclusions within pricing and submission.
  • Review Head Contract and complete departures schedule for draft head contracts.
  • Undertake margin review.
  • Assist with returnables schedule (if required).
  • Amendments and compilation of final submission following BDM review. Email to client or print hardcopies if required.
  • Complete tender clarifications if required.
  • Review subcontractor tracking sheet to determine which trades require work to continue pricing.
  • Review submission template and update to be current.
  • General tender administration and filling as required.
Experience Required
  • Previously worked for head contractor
  • Previously worked for interior fit out companies
  • Minimum 3 years experience working locally in Sydney
  • Minimum 3 years construction experience
  • Sound understanding of the tender process
