CGC Recruitment are working with an existing client who are a National Contractor and are a market leader in Piling and Ground Engineering Works. They have recently won a number of medium scale projects in far North QLD and are actively looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join the business on a full-time basis.
 
Reporting to a Project Manager responsibility will involve; prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Interact daily with clients and represent them in the field. Scope of works include; pilling, ground engineering, shotcreting and soil nails. 
 
The role will be working on a FIFO basis from Brisbane Airport with Flights, Accommodation and $100/day LAFHA being offered by the client. Specific experience in Ground Engineering works is desirable but not essentially as technical training and support from management will be provided. What we are looking for is a driven Project Engineer who is happy to work away from their home base and are looking to build a long-term career with a specialist contractor. Selection Criteria: 
 
- Civil Engineering Degree 
- 5 Years Civil Construction Experience 
- Prior Pilling Experience an advantage 
- Long Term Career Minded
- Happy to work on a FIFO basis
