The Company:

This contractor provides commercial joinery & furniture across Health Care, Aged Care, Education, Hospitality and Corporate sectors. With long term relationships with Building Contractors & Architects they have been highly successful in securing and delivering high profile projects. You will be joining a well-structured, progressive, flexible and innovative team across Design, Estimating, Manufacturing and Delivery you will be joining a high performing and supportive team delivering commercial projects up to $10M.

The Role:

• Management of multiple Joinery Projects depending on size
• Maintaining a high level of Quality Control
• Understanding and reading drawings and plans
• Mentor and lead the team of trades (2 – 20 staff at any time)
• Liaising with clients and other subcontractors (Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Stonemasons etc)
• Check measuring
• Ensuring schedules & KPIs are met
• Ensuring WH&S is adhered to within government legislation

About You:

• Trade Qualifications in Joinery/Carpentry/Cabinet Making
• Prior Site Management or leadership/management experience
• Strong level of joinery methodologies and coordination
• Ability to mentor and motivate
• Ability to problem solve and think on their feet
• Proven previous in commercial joinery
• High level of communication both written and verbal
