Site Manager | $12M Commercial New Build
Location: Brisbane Southside

Our client is a growing force in the Queensland construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects with precision and a "people-first" culture. They are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a $12M commercial new build located on Brisbane’s Southside.

The Project
This is a ground-up commercial development. As the lead on-site, you will be responsible for taking the project through all phases—from initial site establishment and structural works to high-end fit-out and final handover.

Your Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Manage all on-site activities, ensuring subcontractors and direct labour are working efficiently and safely.
• Quality Control: Maintain their reputation for excellence by ensuring all work meets rigorous Australian standards and project specs.
• Scheduling: Drive the program to ensure key milestones are met without compromising on safety or quality.
• Safety First: Maintain a gold-standard WHS environment on-site.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the face of them for the client, consultants, and the local community.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: A proven track record as a Site Manager on commercial projects valued between $5M – $20M.
• Local Knowledge: Strong relationships with Brisbane-based subcontractors and a solid understanding of local site conditions.
• Trade or Tertiary Background: A trade qualification (Carpentry preferred) or a degree in Construction Management.
• Communication: Clear, direct, and professional communication skills.
• Tech Savvy: Ability to use project management software (Procore, HammerTech, etc.) is highly regarded.
