Opportunity
Prominent NSW commercial head contract builder requires an experienced site manager for a high-end fit out and refurb project in Tweed Heads.
Working as the No.1 site manager, you will be tasked with running a $1.3m warm shell, multi-level spec suite and refurb project.
With a strong pipeline of works in place, this initial 3-month project will very likely be the start of several challenging contract roles for the 'right fit' site manager living locally to the Northern Rivers region.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the fit out project, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
