Building Services Manager - Major Rail Infrastructure Project
Location: South Brisbane, QLD
Project Value: $300M+

A leading National Tier 2 Contractor is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join the leadership team on a landmark $300M+ rail infrastructure project located on the south side of Brisbane.
With a strong national presence and a specialist focus on delivering complex projects within the Queensland Rail Corridor, this contractor is at the forefront of the current infrastructure boom across Queensland. Known for their collaborative culture and strong delivery track record, they offer an excellent opportunity for a building services professional to play a pivotal role on a major infrastructure project.
This role will suit a motivated and technically strong Building Services Manager with a proven background across both mechanical and electrical services, and experience working in complex or highly regulated environments such as rail infrastructure.
Reporting directly to the State Lead, you will be responsible for the successful coordination, management, and delivery of all building services packages across the project.

Reporting directly to the State Lead, you will be responsible for the successful coordination, management, and delivery of all building services packages across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and associated systems) across the project lifecycle
- Oversee design coordination, procurement, installation, and commissioning of services packages
- Ensure compliance with rail corridor standards, safety requirements, and project specifications
- Work closely with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams to drive programme outcomes
- Monitor quality, cost control, and risk management across services delivery
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and subcontractors
- Support the integration of services within complex infrastructure environments
- Report directly to the State Lead and contribute to the broader project leadership team
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in Building Services within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong technical background across both Mechanical and Electrical services
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Proven experience working on rail infrastructure projects or within a rail corridor environment
- Experience managing large-scale or complex project services packages
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work within high-performing project delivery teams
