Opportunity

Work as the No.1 site manager for an award-winning commercial builder with over 25-years of industry experience. With a commitment to quality and design excellence, the client is looking for a dedicated Spec Suite Fit Out Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Deliver an initial $1.2M lift lobby upgrade and multi-level fit out start to finish in Collins St, Melbourne. This initial 14-week guaranteed contract role will be the first of several challenging projects that will require an ongoing contract site manager specialist.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
• Ability to collaborate with design teams to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Procore, project management tools)
• Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable

 
Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction methods
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly
