Company 
  • Our client is one of NSWs premier commercial builders operating in educational, medical, aged care and retail sectors offering design and construct and construction management services.
  • They have been in operation of over 15 years and 2 years ago successfully opened a Wollongong and Brisbane office.
  • Last year’s turnover was approx. $150M 
Position 
  • Site Manager required to oversee the completion of Educational Facility in Young that has 3 months till completion
  • Pending this project the builder has a lot of forwarding in Sydney and regional areas so you will be taking on a stable position
  • As the Site Manager you will be required to oversee/coordinate the day to day activates on site to ensure that safety, quality and programme are adhered to.
  • You will report into a Sydney based Project Manager that will visit the site weekly
  • Accommodation will be provided if you cannot travel to and from site on a daily basis
Ideal Background
  • Carpentry trade with management/coordination experience on commercial projects
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and manage sub-contractors
  • Ability to interpret drawings and programmes and develop short term programmes
  • Previously experience working with a well-run builder on commercial projects
  • Good communication and an intermediate level of computer literacy
This is a full-time position paying $150K - $160K package with accommodation provided and will suit someone who is accustomed to working in live environments
