I am currently working with a boutique consultancy who are actively looking to grow their Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance (SESA) team in both Sydney and Melbourne. They are looking to speak to candidates with upwards of 5 years experience in this space.  

With a strong skill set in systems engineering and safety assurance, you will work on large complex infrastructure projects including rail projects (heavy rail, light rail and metros). 

Key areas of responsibility include.

•    Executing Systems engineering deliverables including requirements engineering, interface management and system integration 
•    Safety assurance including contributing to safety workshops, safety cases and GSN
•    Providing technical advice to deploy appropriate systems engineering and safety assurance processes for clients and projects.
•    Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with the AEO framework. 
•    Liaising and developing sound relationships with clients, industry networks, government agencies, sub-consultants and external stakeholders relevant to the group’s activities.  

What will you bring?

•    Experience and competency within Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance on large infrastructure projects
•    Experience in deploying the AEO framework on projects
•    Degree in a relevant field of engineering (preferably Masters in Systems Engineering or equivalent, or has attained INCOSE CSEP)
•    Demonstrated experience with IBM Rational DOORS NG and Demonstrated experience with Adelard Safety Case Editor
•    Familiar with the system lifecycle stages and its impacts on systems engineering and safety assurance activities.
