We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Land Development Engineer with a minimum of 6 years' consultancy experience to join a growing civil engineering team in Perth. You will lead the delivery of land development projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use subdivisions, working closely with clients, authorities, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver land development projects from feasibility through to construction.
- Lead design and documentation of civil works including bulk earthworks, road design, stormwater drainage, sewer and water reticulation.
- Provide technical leadership, quality assurance, and mentoring to junior staff.
- Liaise with clients, developers, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
- Contribute to business development through building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Support the ongoing growth of the WA operations by taking on leadership responsibilities within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards accreditation highly regarded.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience within a consultancy environment, with a focus on land development projects.
- Strong knowledge of subdivision design, authority approvals, and relevant Australian standards.
- Proven track record in project leadership and client management.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
