Summary

CGC Recruitment are working in collaboration with a well established, tier 2 commercial building head contractor who are currently going through an exciting transition & growth period, and as a result with newly awarded projects are looking to bring on board a key hire of a Senior Site Manager. 

The Client

Having an established team with over 50 employees, this commercial builder has a proven track record in delivering a diverse range of commercial construction projects, typically in the $20-120m range including mixed use developments, high rise apartments, commercial, aged care and education projects. 

With an experienced senior leadership team, strong financial backing and and an established client base and market presence, it's an excellent time to join a business on the up as they go through their next growth stage. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all site operations from structure to completion
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Drive quality assurance, WHS compliance, and productivity on site
• Work closely with the Project Manager to meet program milestones and budget targets
• Conduct site meetings, progress reporting, and subcontractor coordination
• Foster a collaborative culture with a focus on safety, teamwork, and delivery excellence

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years’ experience as a Site Manager with commercial building contractors
• Proven success delivering new build projects $30m+ in value
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of construction methodology, finishes, and sequencing
• Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction, or similar
• WA project experience and established subcontractor relationships highly regarded
