CGC Recruitment are working with a family-owned smaller Tier contractor who deliver a range of complex infrastructure projects within the Central QLD Coal Fields. Due to project wins, they have identified an immediate requirement for a Senior Site Engineer to join the business on a contract hire basis. 
 
Reporting into Senior Management the role will have full autonomy to tender for a deliver projects across the full project life-cycle. You will be responsible for leading a team of supervisors and being responsible for; resource planning, developing construction methodologies, administering contracts, managing subcontractors and managing project risk. Projects will range between $100k-3ml and types of works include; mining accommodation expansion works, pipeline upgrades, mine access road upgrades etc. 
 
Selection Criteria:
 
- 3 years post graduate experience 
- Prior experience on civil projects in a mining environment
- Experience with a Tier 3 contractor 
- Robust enough to work in a remote environment
- S11 & Coal Board Medical an advantage 
 
The role will be immediately immersed on to a project in Central QLD and will run for the next 4-6 months, so will be suited to an Engineer who is keener on the flexibility of a short-term project hire engagement. They can be flexible on roster working a 10/4 or 9/5 dependent on candidates preference.
