Job description

The Company: 
  • A well-established family run mid-tier builder founded over 20 years ago are continuing to grow year on year and now operate with well over 400 staff between the states of NSW, VIC & QLD with a T/O of nearly $500M.
  • They are one of the major players in the commercial building sector and are an "Employer of Choice" who empower their staff to push the boundaries.  
  • NSW is currently their busiest state with a number of high profile and exciting projects on the order book and more locked in throughout the year.
The Role: 
  • Due to internal promotions we are looking for a Project Manager to join the business who is able to mentor and develop the more Junior Project Managers and be a sounding board to the Project Managers. You will be required to manage your own project with a full team to support you. As the Senior Project manager you will report to the Construction Manager and General Manager.   
Your Experience:  
  • Naturally we are looking for a Project Manager who has experience in medium to large projects ranging from $10m to $100m and is able to operate in highly compliant and systems orientated business. 
  • The business are known for looking after their staff and have an excellent staff retention rate and pride themselves on promoting from within.
  • As a Senior Project Manager you will need to have a completed Construction degree and a proven history delivering projects in the Construction space.
You will also need: 
  • Experience with a similar size builder 
  • A strong Commercial background
  • Construction experience $30m + 
  • Able to run a team proactively 
  • Ideally - experience with a well known builder
  • Strong client relationships skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be a team player
