Job description

Our client are a specialist Rail Contractor who are currently at the forefront of the rail infrastructure boom across Australia with established pipelines of work in QLD, NSW and WA. They have recently been awarded a major rail package as part of a prestigious infrastructure project in QLD and are currently ramping up for site mobilization.

Reporting directly into the Rail Construction Manager you will be directly responsible for the leading the delivery of the 200 km of narrow gauge track across a greenfield site. You will be responsible the preparation of project plans & schedules, the estimation of plant, materials & labour undertake 3rd party verification of constructed works. In addition to this you will be responsible for preparation of project management documentation and managing of work-site OH&S.

We are urgently looking to speak with experienced Rail Engineer who can lead and deliver complex rail projects in a safety critical environment who can act in a engineering leadership capacity but who is also can work collaboratively as part of a team. The role will be based in Brisbane for the next 2 months but then will mobilize out to site on a 3/1 working roster. As of the nature if the work a site uplift of 40% will be given so applicants can capitalize financially as well as leading the delivery of iconic rail project.
