Senior Project Engineer – Civil Construction (Resources Sector | 2:2 FIFO)

Join a well-established and highly regarded national contractor delivering complex civil infrastructure projects across Western Australia’s resources sector. With a strong pipeline of secured works extending well into 2026 and beyond, this is a long-term career opportunity offering stability, challenge, and genuine work-life balance.

The Opportunity
This role will see you play a key part in the successful delivery of civil construction projects within the resources space — covering bulk earthworks, roadworks, concrete structures, drainage, and other associated civil packages. You’ll join a collaborative site-based team working on a family-friendly 2:2 FIFO roster from Perth, with a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily project delivery activities, ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance
  • Coordinate design, planning, and construction sequencing in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Manage subcontractors, cost controls, forecasting, and progress reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and stakeholder communication
About You:
  • Degree-qualified Civil Engineer (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Senior Project Engineer with a reputable Australian main contractor
  • Proven background delivering civil construction projects in the WA resources sector
  • Excellent technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities
  • Must have full Australian working rights (no visa sponsorship available)
What’s on Offer:
  • Salary guide: $150,000 – $180,000 + super + site uplift (depending on experience)
  • 2:2 FIFO roster – family friendly
  • Diverse and long-term project pipeline across resources, defence, and infrastructure sectors
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture with opportunities for progression
If you’re ready to join a contractor with a strong reputation, consistent project wins, and a commitment to its people, we’d love to hear from you.
