We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our clients Perth-based team and play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase of a landmark civil and marine infrastructure project in Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to project planning, design coordination, procurement, and methodology development before works commence on site.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical, commercial, and planning expertise to ensure the project is set up for successful delivery. 


Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning activities, including methodology development, staging, and sequencing
• Provide technical input on:
  
  • Earthworks and new pavement construction
  • Concrete works and structural footings
  • Drainage upgrades and ground stabilisation
  • Installation of marine support structures (piles, wharfs, jetties)
• Assist with procurement planning, subcontractor scoping, and tender evaluations
• Identify and mitigate project risks during planning stages
• Liaise with designers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure constructability and efficiency
• Support development of project budgets, schedules, and quality plans

Skills & Experience Required

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a project engineering role.
• Proven experience in earthworks, pavements, drainage, concrete structures, and marine infrastructure
• Strong background in pre-construction planning, design review, and methodology development
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in procurement and cost management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary project environment

• $85 - $105 Per Hour + Super
• Weekly Pay
• Perth Based Office in Balcatta
• Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
• Minimum 6 months work 
• Potential for ongoing work
