Senior Project Engineer - Road Infrastructure Upgrades
Location: Western Sydney & Blue Mountains Area
Contract Type: 6-Month Temporary Contract
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our clients team for road infrastructure upgrade projects in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains area. This is a 6-month temporary contract with an ASAP start, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects including slope stabilisation, culverts, bridges, and shotcreting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of road infrastructure upgrade projects.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including plans, reports, and ITPs.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on road infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of slope stabilisation, culverts, bridges, and shotcreting.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between project sites in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains area.
