Job description
The Company
You will be joining a Tier 2 infrastructure specialist that currently employees just over 100 people. They undertake projects valued to $25M within the Rail, Solar, Remediation, Bulk Earthworks and Roadworks.
They subcontract working with clients such as JHG, CPB and Laings, TFNSW is also a key client of theirs. The Director and Senior Management are still very hands ensuring people receive ongoing mentoring and training and all work is negotiated meaning they don't have to relay on the turbulent tender market to secure work
The Position
As the Senior Project Engineer, you will be hands on in terms of early tender involvement, program and client interaction whilst working closely with your Site Manager to deliver the project in collaboration sub contractors. You will be responsible for monitoring project financials and drive program to ensure that works are completed to the clients satisfaction, safety.
You will be expected to be able to deliver up to $10M worth of work concurrently.
Salary will be in line with experience however expectations are in line with $160K – $170K + Super + Car + Bonus

Ideal Background
- Have delivered utilities, rail infrastructure, roadworks, excavation, and general civil.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain key client relationships and previous experience working at the front end of projects
- Understanding of the local market and well networked with local subbies
- Ability to plan, manage and deliver several projects simultaneously
- Good communication skills and ability build rapport quickly
- Be decisive and have the ability to negotiate with relevant stakeholders
- Good IT skills
