Job description
Our client was established in 2020 as a statutory state-owned corporation and is the legal owner of an extensive portfolio of railway assets, including track, signals, power systems, rolling stock, stations and platforms and significant land holdings around stations within metropolitan and regional NSW.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the EGM, People & Culture, you will be responsible for identifying needs, developing and implementing a suite of policies and procedures, supporting documents and toolkits for the department. You will be required to work across a wide variety of business areas to ensure an effective interface between policy development and subject matter expertise.
Key accountabilities
• Manage, oversee and enhance the development of policies and processes, guidelines standards and associated documents, identifying opportunities for consolidation and simplification
• Identifying key business process improvement areas and developing as well as implementing relevant frameworks, structured process maps and workflows across the business
• Maintaining, monitoring and communicating policies across the business on a regular basis.
• Work across a wide range of subjects and provide high level and quality analysis and advice on a range of areas often at short notice.
• Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders on policy and process development and improvement.
• Ensuring the policy register is reviewed and maintained on a regular basis with the most up to date and relevant information
• Design and deliver quality policy and process improvement projects on time
