Civil contractor who is multi-divisional operating the roads and bridges, civil and water infrastructure space.
They have multiple projects nationwide and are a leader in innovation and technology.
About the role
Senior Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and administrative coordination for the tender, design, supply, installation and testing of the project. The primary challenge of this position is to ensure the project technically supported throughout the entire project life cycle and is completed in a timely, cost effective and quality compliant manner meeting contractual arrangements made with the client.
Due to the project being in construction phase at the back end this will be construction delivery focused and close out work.
The project is a large pumping station in Western Sydney.
This position is an initial 3-4 month contract, due to an ever changing schedule it could lead to further work.
It is also an ASAP start so the ideal candidate will be able to start within 1-2 weeks.
Skills & experience
Mechanical engineering experience working for principle contractor on water infrastructure projects ideally or large civil projects with electrical M&E scope of works.
