Lead / Senior Estimator - Civil & Mining

Location: Perth (North of the River)
Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 + Super
 
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a leading civil & mining contractor with offices based north of the river in Perth. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure and mining projects across Western Australia.

Our client are keen to speak to Senior candidates with a proven track record successfully leading tenders across a range of sectors delivering civil infrastructure and mining / bulk earthworks related projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for civil construction projects
• Analyse project requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and assess competitiveness
• Work closely with senior management to support bid strategies and commercial outcomes
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimating staff

About You:

• Proven experience as an Estimator with a WA civil main contractor
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, contracts, and cost control
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
