Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage national transport operations across all branches
- Ensure compliance with relevant transport laws and regulations (e.g. chain of responsibility, heavy vehicle regulations)
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimise fleet utilisation, reduce costs and boost efficiency
- Oversee fleet management: scheduling, maintenance, allocation and downtime reduction
- Act independently to resolve operational challenges and deliver continuous improvement across the transport function
- Demonstrated experience managing transport operations on a national scale
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the transport and logistics sector
- Proven track record in process optimisation and fleet management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Self-starter who can operate autonomously and make decisions with initiative
