Senior Estimator

Our client is an established Australian main contractor who deliver large scale civil construction projects for tier one clients across a range of sectors including infrastructure, mining, defence, oil and gas. Typical projects include concrete construction, roadworks, earthworks, NPI and piping works projects.

They are seeking a Senior Estimator to join their Perth offices and work across a range of civil construction infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead a team of Estimators, providing first class estimation and contract management capabilities, efficiently delivering estimates, and developing and maintaining strong working relationships to all stakeholders both internally and externally.
 
Candidate criteria:

• Proven track record successfully tendering on projects including Earthworks / Concrete / NPI / Roadworks / Drainage.
• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Contracts Management or similar.
• A minimum of 10 years Estimating experience
• Understanding of the National Code of Practice, procurement and construction methodology
• Expert Estimating software experience
• Exposure to tenders on large scale projects from $10-100M
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-starter with ability to communicate with all stakeholder levels
