About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Sydney. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver exceptional outcomes for a wide array of projects, including commercial, residential, Data Centres and industrial developments.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communications.
• Conduct detailed electrical calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide expert advice.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

  
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex electrical engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.
