Senior Dams Engineer:
We’re currently working with a Tier 1 consultancy who are in the process of expanding their Water & Wastewater group across Queensland off the back of several large tender wins. They’re highly regarded within the Water & Wastewater field within Queensland and seem to be winning the bulk of work within this space.
This is a Brisbane based role working in the centre of the CBD. You’ll be working very closely with the rest of the dams team – which is one of the largest dams teams across Brisbane. With a strong close-knit culture, it’s a company where everyone leans on each other to make sure the job is complete as easily as possible.
 
The role:

• Acting as a lead within the wider dams team, there are a few juniors within the teams who will require mentoring
• Preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications for a wide range of dam projects
• Review of groundwater and levelling monitoring data
• Some business development will be required
• Report writing

The requirements:

• 10 years + within the dams industry, with a strong desire to be leading a team in the future
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed planning and organisational skills.
• BEng within Civil Engineering
• Australian consultancy experience is required
