CGC are working with one of Sydney’s premier builders to recruit a Contracts Manager. This builder turns over in the vicinity of $300M working in Sydney and 3 other regional hubs across NSW. Average projects values range from $30M - $50M with capability up too $100M.
This builder is well known for operating in the Commercial, Educational and Age Care sectors but also regularly take on projects in challenging and technical sectors which is outside of their comfort zone, they do this to keep staff engaged and challenged.
Based on $100M project (site based) the Senior Contract Administrator will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and office based Commercial Manager to ensure the Head Contract is correctly administrated. The successfully candidate will be able to mitigate risk and ensure that things run smoothly throughout the project so there are no surprises at handover stages.
Most of the procurement for the job has been completed by the existing Contract Administrator and the site team are just about to take control of the site.
Salary will depend on experience but will be between $170,000 - $190,000
- Construction Management Degree
- Demonstrated experience administrating Head contracts on large scale projects for tier one or two builders
- Thorough understanding of NSW contractual law
- Ability to identify and mitigate risk
