Company Profile

This builder is one of Sydney’s premier fit out/refurbishment contractors that is busy, securing in excess of $200M worth of work for the 24/25 financial year. In turn they are looking to add additional head count into the business to help with the commercial management.

The Position:

You will be based across one large scale project that will be in excess of $50M helping to mitigate risk and ensure that things run smoothly throughout the project, you will deal with all the head contract administration and manage CA’s below you. In addition to this you will assist where necessity more junior members of staff solving any commercial management issues across their projects, providing guidance and advice. You will report directly into the Commercial Manager and work alongside another Contracts Manager.
His role could suit someone who feels they are ready to step up from the Senior Contracts Administrator role. The commercial manager is willing to provide training and mentorship.
Salary will depend on experience but will be between $170,000 - $190,000

Ideal background / skill set
  • Construction Management Degree
  • Demonstrated experience administrating Head contracts on large scale projects for two builders
  • Thorough understanding of NSW contractual law
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risk
  • Be willing and able to provide guidance and advise to junior members of staff
