Position: Health and Safety Coordinator (Short-Term Contract)
Location: Sydney, NSW
Duration: Initial 1-month contract, immediate start with potential for extension based on project needs

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for each project.
- Facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist in safety administration tasks including incident reporting, documentation, and record keeping.
- Collaborate closely with project teams and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Coordinator in civil infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards applicable to construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Immediate start with a leading civil infrastructure contractor in Sydney.
