Health and Safety Coordinator
Company: Our client are a prominent civil infrastructure contractor based in Sydney, specializing in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors in the civils space. 
Position: Health and Safety Coordinator (Short-Term Contract)
Location: Sydney, NSW
Duration: Initial 1-month contract, immediate start with potential for extension based on project needs
Daily Rates: Competitive daily rates based on experience and qualifications
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for each project.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assist in safety administration tasks including incident reporting, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Coordinator in civil infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards applicable to construction sites.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Immediate start with a leading civil infrastructure contractor in Sydney.
