CGC Recruitment are working with an existing client who are a leading Tier 2 Civil Contractor who deliver multidisciplinary Civil Engineering projects ranging from $5ml right up to $100ml.
 
They have a proven reputation for winning and delivering projects based on reputation and constructability solutions in oppose to just "price" which gives their staff a balanced working culture and security of work, either tendering or out on projects.
 
They have an extensive order books of challenging projects which includes a $100ml + project which they recently picked up 1 hour West of Brisbane. As of such they have identified an immediate need for a site based Safety Adviser to join the team on a full time basis. 
 
As Safety Adviser you will work alongside the Project Manager and will be responsible work health and safety management plans, develop proactive safety advice to site management and engineering staff and implement and integrate a safety management system with the client. Scope of works will involve, civil, structures, slope stabilization and road resurfacing. 
 
The role is based an hours drive from the West of Brisbane so will if candidates are are located around Ipswich/Logan area they could commute on a daily basis however for applicants based over an hours drive away, accommodation and site allowances will be provided.
 
 
 Selection Criteria:
  
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Safety Adviser 
- Must have experience working on TMR projects 
- Prior experience on projects over $50ml 
- Must be a productive team member
- Posses high attention to detail
