CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long standing client Nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom in QLD and deliver major projects across a number of sectors including Roads, Rail, Defence and Resources.

They are currently involved in the delivery of one of Brisbane's most iconic infrastructure projects of the last 20 years and have immediate contract requirement for a Project Engineer to assist in the deliver of a major Brownfield Construction projects.

They have identified an immediate need for a boots on the ground Site Safety Adviser to join a dynamic team in Brisbane CBD. Reporting between the Safety Lead and the on site PM you will be responsible for producing work health and safety management plans, provide proactive safety advice to site management and engineering staff and implement and maintain a safety management system focusing on contractor management.

The scope on ste is a complex Civil and Building Construction project and is a safety critical work environment due to the nature of work so we are looking to speak with passionate safety professionals who are driven and focused to maintain zero harm on site and also have the communication and leadership skills to work in collaboration with a JV project and multiple subcontractors.

Selection Criteria:

- Minimum 5 years in an on site safety role

- 10 years total civil construction experience

- Must possess experience in both self perform civils and also a building construction environment

- Must have a proven background dealing with subcontractors and trades

- Clear communicator to implement safety practices on site
