Our client is a privately owned Australian multi-disciplined civil contractor who operated nationally across Australia. Their expertise includes civil construction, concrete pumping, mobile batch plants and precast concrete, servicing the mining, O&G, and infrastructure sectors. 
 
As of recent project wins interstate they have identified an urgent requirement for a site-based project engineer to close out an existing project over in South Australia. Reporting to the Project Manager on site the role will involve Quality Control and Quality Assurance for the installation of retaining walls and footings and creating and managing Quality documents including Inspection and Test Plans. 
 
The role is an immediate requirement from now until the Xmas shut down period and will require and Engineer to work away from home on site for that duration with accommodation, travel and meal allowance will be provided by the client.
This position would be ideal for an Engineer keen to gain in between projects and wants to keep busy on the run up to Xmas. 
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- 3-5 years Civil Construction experience
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Experience concrete projects
- Prior experience with a mid tier civil contractor is preference - Willing to work remotely on a mine camp
