We are seeking a highly skilled Project or Senior Project Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to join a principal contractor's team during the tender phase of a major wastewater treatment plant project. This is a short-term contract role with a focus on process design and verification of mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project or Senior Project Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to join a principal contractor's team during the tender phase of a major wastewater treatment plant project. This is a short-term contract role with a focus on process design and verification of mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the process design and verification of M&E systems for the wastewater treatment plant.
- Work closely with design teams to ensure specifications meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide input into design optimization and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of tender documentation and technical submissions.
- Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in water infrastructure projects, particularly wastewater treatment plants.
- Strong background in process design and M&E verification.
- Familiarity with Australian standards and water industry regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
