Project Manager - Structures (FIFO Mining Project)
Location: FIFO from any major East Coast airport
Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
Duration: 6-month contract
Rate: Top-tier daily rate
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Structures to lead the delivery of a major Structures package on a recently awarded mining project. This is a FIFO role offering full project accountability, both from a delivery and commercial perspective, working with one of Queensland's most sought-after Tier 2 civil contractors.
The Role
Reporting to senior project leadership, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of the Structures scope, encompassing both concrete and steel structures, within a demanding mining environment.

The Role
Reporting to senior project leadership, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of the Structures scope, encompassing both concrete and steel structures, within a demanding mining environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full accountability for project delivery, safety, quality, programme, and cost
- Commercial management including budgets, forecasting, variations, and reporting
- Leadership and coordination of site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Interface management with client representatives and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with mining standards, HSE requirements, and contractual obligations
- Driving performance in a high-pressure FIFO environment
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 10 years post-graduate experience in civil / structures project delivery
- Proven experience delivering concrete and steel structures packages
- Previous experience with a Tier 2 civil contractor (essential)
- Demonstrated experience working on mining projects
- Strong commercial acumen with end-to-end project ownership
- The resilience, leadership presence, and adaptability required for FIFO and mining environments
- Top-tier daily rate aligned with senior FIFO project roles
- 2/1 FIFO roster from any major East Coast airport
- 6-month contract on a high-profile mining project
