CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source an experienced Project Manager to join a newly awarded construction project. 
 
Working with a close knit team and reporting directly into the State Operations Manager, your main duties will include:
 
- Coordinating all on-site construction works
- Developing and maintaining project management plans
- Project budget and schedule, drafting and negotiating subcontract agreements with approved stakeholders
- Negotiating and delivering contract as per agreed terms and conditions
- Setup and issue project risk register for all stakeholders
- Manage all project-related procurement and logistics.
 
Scope of works will include; civil excavation, back-fill and concrete works, structural steel columns and beams, installation and welding of pipelines.
 
The project is located in Central QLD and we are open to applicants based locally or on a FIFO basis from Brisbane where a 10/4 or 2/1 roster will be allocated. We are looking to speak to available PMs who posses the following experience; 
 
- 10 years project management experience
- Engineering degree is preferred 
- Proven experience delivering projects in heavy industry (mining, O&G, Renewables)   
- Leadership skills and ability to make key decisions 
- Solid communication skills
