Job description

This national civil contractor focus on the delivery of Road, Rail and Defense projects and are growing rapidly across the Eastern Sea board. They have currently waiting to be shortlisted on a number of projects both in the Road and Rail sectors and have identified a need for a consulting Project Manager to join the pre-contracts team on a sub consulting basis.

The role will report to the National Pre-Contracts Manager and the GM to involve providing strategic management to assist on the tender for a $30ml Airfield Defence project. The role will involve developing construction methodologies, identifying and negotiating sub-contract packages, leading workshops and client interfaces, providing input into traffic management plans and optimizing bid submission.

As of the nature of the project we are looking to speak to Project Manager who have a proven background in the delivery of Airfield projects in a Defence environment with exposure to asphalt overlays, patching repairs, runway widening and extensions The role will be an initial consulting role for the duration of the bid but the job will develop into a project role should there be a successful outcome of the tender.
